It’s an injector plug for a common rail diesel. We’re talking high pressure applications (mine sits around 28k psi). This little threaded chunk of metal allowed me to diagnose a leaking injector when my truck wouldn’t start and saved me hundreds vs going to a shop. It has a special spot in the truck toolbox. Threads right onto the fuel rail with no issues.
