This was an easy install for my daughter’s Acura TSX – the kit came with everything we needed other than a stray gasket that came as a liquid gasket from the factory on these engines for about a year (and hers is one of these) so we had to replace it with RTV, and that holds beautifully since we didn’t go overboard with it. No leaks and no problems. Was great to get the replacement water pump as well since if this engine had used a timing belt a water pump replacement would happen even more often, and I think it’s a good preventative idea, even though, in our case we didn’t have problems with water pump pressure. Still, after install the new pump has dropped the peak temp by almost 10 degrees which is pretty substantial and very helpful on these hot-running little engines. Chain is well made, as are sprockets, guides, tensioner, etc., and now that it’s in place the engine noise is reduced and after the first week the MPG is just slightly up, although that’s probably a fluke. Still, overall a good, complete, well-made kit and I recommend it.

Fit in the car, the parts seem to be of decent quality. I do not need this to last 100k miles as this car is rusted out and only a beater, but installing this kit fixed the issues we were having with it and I am pleased.
