This charger seems to do a good job of charging my LiFePO4 batteries quickly. It displays “Li” in red while charging and in green when fully charged. It has a fan that runs while charging in order to keep it cool. Unfortunately, the AC cord is not detachable is very short (~25”). The alligator-clip cord is also (unfortunately) not detachable and the cable is very short (~14”). Both cords have good strain relief, but I would have liked to have seen those cords be detachable in case they fail, or in case I want to add longer ones. But I guess at this price-point ($24.49 at the time of this review) you can’t have everything. According to the user manual, the AC-power should be disconnected before the alligator clips are removed from the battery. I accidentally failed to follow that instruction because it’s so counterintuitive. I’m not sure what happens if you remove the alligator clips first. Nothing bad seemed to have happened. Overall, it’s a good charger.

The slip that comes with this as well as the unit this self specify lithium ion, with no note of lifepo4 anywhere in sight. It is however a 14.6v charger, which is correct for the lifepo4 “12v” batteries.
Does it work? Yes.
Is it convenient? The power cord isn’t removable and is short. The clips are strong and useful though.
It is built like some of the better chargers I’ve had that use a fan when there is load, but that turn it off when done.

This is a nice little charger that had no issues charging my LiFePO4 battery. The built in fan is a little loud and the cables are a bit short but not really a big deal to me. When charging it’s recommended to connect the battery first (red to positive, black to negative) before plugging in the charger. When disconnecting it unplug the unit first. This is recommended because of the possibility you accidentally touch the alligator clips together wile it’s plugged in. Could cause a spark or trip your circuit. Good price for this charger and did exactly what I purchased it for.

I ordered this to bench charge the smaller 12V LiFePO4 batteries I use with my traveling/off-grid solar panel kits. I certainly don’t need longer cords on the charger since they’d only get in the way on my workbench. I normally use a smaller 2A or 3A charger on my batteries, so this 10A one is a nice upgrade.
