Was in a pinch and broke when my timing chain guide. This was a complete timing chain kit and got shipped to me in two days. Once I installed this kit my engine fired right up with no codes or issues. 10/10 will recommend.

We have one of these older Venzas in the family and I like its simplicity versus the new Venza – they’re only sort of similar in size, but different in powertrain. These first gen Venzas are really dependable IF the timing chain and other wear parts are replaced at about 80k-100k miles, which is where we were at when I installed this. Using it for a month now I can say it’s rock-solid and has added back some spunk as the timing no longer lags.

The reason I only gave it 4 stars was that the sensor didn’t come with the spacer. I had to go to parts store and luckily they had one. Other than that the kit had everything else that I needed

I just installed this on a 2013 venza 2.7 and it’s manufactured very well. It stopped the rattle immediately. The timing chain color marks look anodized but i couldn’t really tell whether it was like a glittery purple paint however it worked. The kit is amazing and you may need to add some oil-based paint to the 3 timing chain marks yourself. The reason the whole kit was necessary is because the top top chain guide broke from the vvt gear rattle and caused a metal on metal action happening on the timing chain which burned the color off the chain marks (dead giveaway the whole kit is necessary because toyota timing chains last until this happens).
