The plastic covers made holding the wires in place quite easy. I still placed some electrical tape as a further safety measure but the manufacture provided sleeve was a great addition.

We got these for making an adapter for our camping water pump to fit our vehicle and these are great. It is very easy to splice the broken plug and connect it to these. The price is great for two of them and they feel well made. We have not have any issue with over heating using these.
