I got this to connect a 12 volt power supply to my diesel heater. My power supply has a 12V female cigarette lighter type connector and this work perfectly to connect to it and the clamps then connect to the leads from my diesel heater. It has a little LED to show when power is on.

This item works great for powering my 12v weed sprayer while I’m riding my ATV / ride on mower around with a 60L take on the back.
otherwise I have to use a another plug which usually melts or gets way too hot from the voltage drop / amps.
I plugged this into my John Deere X520 and used to for my 12V sprayer pump with no issues.
It’s tripple fused between the socket, cable and the pump and it worked great, no heat in the cable, no popped fuses.
Make sure the socket is seated properly and you’re good to go for decent amp equipment if the socket allows, else high amp cigarette lighter socket adapter also works great.
