This remote battery disconnect works amazingly for my RV. I’m using it to cut power to the house battery, and it’s been flawless. I’ve cycled it many times, both from inside the RV and from about 50 feet away, and it’s worked every single time. Super reliable and a great addition to my setup!

This remote battery disconnet works perfectly, it’s great for anti theft on old school automobiles particularly if you have a locking hood. This could be a problem for modern cars since the on board computer needs to have some power but short term it will work great. This will keep things like golf carts, boats, and R.V.s from using power when it’s not needed. Overall there’s many uses for this nice remote controlled battery disconnect and I highly recommend it.

It’s a bit bulky, but it was easy to install, and the build quality seems good to me. The range is pretty far, it worked for me at about 70 feet away. I have an older car, it has some issues with the electrical so being able to disconnect the battery when not in use prevents the battery from draining. I like that it comes with 2 key remotes for it, so that my wife and I can both have a copy.

Great little tool to shut off power to a car remotely. Device is easy to install and functions as advertised. No more raising the hood to shut off the battery. I will recommend it to my friends with vintage cars which are notorious for having slow parasitic drain or that want to add a little more protection by adding a battery disconnect.

I have been experiencing issues with my 2014 Nissan Xterra related to phantom battery drain. Since I purchased an eBike for quick shopping trips, I only use the truck every 5 to 6 days. As a result, the battery often drains down to around 10.5 volts, which is too low to engage the starter.
To address this issue, I initially bought a manual switch to disconnect the battery when the truck is not in use. However, I soon grew tired of having to open and close the hood every time I wanted to turn the battery on or off. Therefore, I decided to order a Smart Remote Battery Disconnect.
When the product arrived, it came with minimal instructions and did not include the necessary side-mount hardware, which led me to return it. I was concerned about the switch hanging off the battery terminal without proper support. While the hardware was robust, I feared that vibrations from driving could eventually cause problems.
One day after setting up a return/exchange for the incomplete hardware, I received the replacement that allowed me to mount the switch on the side of the battery. The switch is connected to the negative side of the battery, with a small wire running to the positive terminal to power the switch’s electronics. It was quite straightforward.
Before installation, I conducted a test with variable voltage to see how the switch would respond to both under-voltage and over-voltage situations. The switch functioned correctly, indicating low voltage at around 6.5 volts and activating the over-voltage feature at 14 volts.
The remote control worked effectively at a range of up to 75 feet, which is more than enough for typical use. Overall, it is a solid product, provided you have the complete package of mounting hardware. My battery drainage problem? Solved!
