This product was used on a 2013 Ford Edge SEL and it fit perfectly. No issues. Runs great. Installing was easy. And price was good.

Used on my 03 ram to replace the Jacob’s exhaust brake vacuum pump. The vacuum pump is pretty infamous for going bad. I looked around for this pump and couldn’t find one for less than 250. I was going to just switch out my Jacob’s brake for a pac brake until I found this.
Installed it and it just works. You can definitely hear when it runs but it’s pretty quiet. It pulls a vacuum fast and shuts off within about a second or two.
Seems to be of good quality. Time will tell if it’s a good replacement long term. I’m happy with it and extremely happy with the price. Fits just like the old pump it replaced. Installation was actually a bit annoying but that is no fault of the pump.
Lastly, make sure you don’t run it without a vacuum load. This pump and most other vacuum pumps are not meant to run continuously. If you’re replacing this pump, there’s a good chance you have a vacuum leak.
Latest update: Changing to 1 Star because the pump diaphragm failed after 1 month of intermittent use. Started hearing a ticking sound and my exhaust brake stopped working. Happened a couple days after my return window. I’ve replaced all the vacuum lines so it isn’t leaking. I capped the pump off at the output vacuum line as well and it was still running. Honestly don’t think I would replace this pump if I were given another one. Too much of a pain to replace. I’ll be going with a compressed air actuated exhaust brake now.

This is a solidly built pump, and looks and feels like the OEM part, for a fraction of the price. The metal is solid, and has a good finish. This fit right in, so installation was a cinch. Afterwards the engine is running better. Longevity with engine parts is hard to say at the beginning, but so far this is working great and shows a clear improvement.
