Too much tension caused fuel pump to blow off side of motor breaking the bolts off the block mechanic said the fuel pump had too much pressure and not enough recoil for the cam lobe to compress

When my original fuel pump assembly became defective I had great difficulty in sourcing one in my country. All the spare part shops that I contacted do not stock this item. I went to visit a couple of junkyards but to no avail. Every one that I’ve contacted referred me to the Nissan Agents, which in turn do not sell it as a complete unit, but in three parts, and obviously charge an arm and a leg for it. I therefore went online and was very happy to come across this replacement part, costing far less than the Agents, on Amazon. I placed an order and I received the part within 8 days (RSA). Part was easy to fit and thankfully my Exxie is mobile again and no problems encountered so far. I’m very happy and satisfied with my purchase.
