This was about a 30 minute project to R&R the old broken cable with the new cable assembly. After the new cable assembly was installed, I had to loosen the mounting nut to adjust the new cabling position for proper fit and tensioning.
This was a good purchase and I would recommend this assembly to others.
If unfamiliar with parts replacement: first, consult and refer to your owners manual or contact the manufacturer; second, order the correct replacement part from Amazon; and third, take a photo or photos of the existing condition before disassembly. You can do this!
