I needed to redo the wiring in my car’s console and thought I would try these. I really liked how easy they were to assemble, and how well they work. The one caution is that you will want a good set of crimping pliers, or you will not get good crimps. Pictured is the set that I used, but any similar ones should work.

The product was necessary for a few issues. They have not instructions would have at first & aren’t fun trying to get them to lock in several times. Even with an excellent crimping kit, it takes a while because the pins are NOT stiff – more weak!

I use a lot of different connectors and these connectors work very well .The lead will attach easily, and stay tight However, the right tool with the special crimping jaw is absolutely necessary. It is almost impossible to hold and properly crimp the terminal end to the lead correctly without the crimp tool. The tool allows the user to place the lead into the tool jaw with the connector. Then folds over the connector flag, flattens and crimps the folded edged centered, down and tight. Another important reason I use the proper crimp tool is because the tiny lock tab on the connector which is hard to feel or see is not damaged that holds the contact in place.

God damn piece of junk. Can’t even get the pins to go inside and lock. All they do is bend and crumple up. Gotta keep cutting the ends off and solder new ends. Will not lock inside. JUNK JUNK JUNK JUNK
