I’m voicing this review so if there’s grammar errors, I apologize in advance. I have a 2018 GMC Sierra. I was having connection problems with the clip from the ponytail into my old starter. I bought a ponytail and I bought this starter. All I did was keep the old ponytail put some superglue and connected to this starter and everything has been working perfectly so far. In fact so far it’s been starting better than my old manufacturer starter. I read a lot of comments saying that this craps out after a certain amount of time so I will be updating if anything changes but so far for the money you can’t go wrong.
As for the quality of this starter, it feels like it’s good quality feels the same as the original manufacturer starter. It’s generally the same shape fit in perfectly feel snug. At this moment, I have no complaints.

Bought this starter for a 2017 chevy tahoe. Fit perfect, bolted right up and wire connection was solid between aftermarket starter and oem plug. Yes it is much cheaper than a more expensive replacement but quality seemed good and we’ll see how long it lasts. But for $75 and 30 minutes of work I will buy 3 more before I spend $360 on one from an auto parts store. Hope this helps somone.
