Great Kit. The clamps are super strong and grip the terminals firmly. This is a great low cost fix for my original clamp which broke. There were enough parts to make a professional looking repair. I soldered the wires onto the tab which I attached with the supplied nut and bolt. The result works and I am happy with the result.

There are a couple of claims in the ad that I question. They are not copper. Probably coper alloy (brass). For me that’s a good thing. Brass is stronger than pure copper, so I don’t expect them to bend over time with use. While brass doesn’t conduct as well as copper, it’s fine for my uses. The other thing is the 500 A claim. I don’t know for sure, but common sense says no. All that means to me is that they won’t be used for jumper cables, but that wasn’t my intent. I have put them on cables to a 15A charger. They have a strong spring tension, and some teeth on the jaws to get good contact with common battery terminals, which should make them work very well for my purposes.

These are good quality clamps, they grip well and are a handy size. We are using them on an electric for charging station. Easy to install and use, these are a good value and definitely worth trying.

Used them to create a quick connect to a battery. Small enough to not being bulky but not flimsy like others on Amazon. I like the O ring way to connect the cables with the supplied hardware than a crimp on or a soldering connection.
