The old shock on the storage hatch on our boat was blown out and these are working perfect as a replacement for it, only needed one but it’s nice having a backup

Easy install and toolbox lid working again good as new. Support feels consistent. Not too much at the low end and just enough at the top to keep the lid off my head.
