This product does NOT work as transmission cooler flex hose! I installed two 7″ sections of this hose to connect the transmission to the heat exchanger in the radiator in my Scion xB with the simple U340 transmission. Very light duty. The hoses began leaking — oozing trans fluid — within two weeks, and both sections were very stiff when they were removed. I replaced those two sections with hydraulic return hose, and my problems were solved.
This hose might work as fuel line, but it does NOT work as advertised — transmission cooler hose.

Strong trans cooler hose that holds up in harsh environments.

I think this is fuel line…and would get soft under heat and…no matter how well it was clamped…would pull off the fitting.
It may be good hose for some applications…but on my mail Jeep made for some freakishly tense moments laying under the jeep trying to get it fixed out on the route.
I wouldn’t buy it again.
Maybe it will work for you?
I don’t know.
I bought some better hose and didn’t have the same problem.

Do not use as oil or transmission cooler line, oils destroy regular fuel hose over time. I bought without looking into material description.

I used this line for an oil cooler application June of 2024, it’s now January 2025 and the hose burst. It’s hard and brittle and the entire inner liner has a crack the entire length of the hose. I almost lost my engine thanks to this awful hose. I also have to replace my front brakes now too as it’s sprayed all over the lf rotor and now the pads are impregnated with oil effectively rendering my expensive aftermarket aggressive street/track pads worthless. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT BUY !
