I purchased this to repair a leak in one of the spark plug tube gaskets on my ’00 (AP1) S2000. The plug tube gaskets are *very* tight in fitment. Ideally one would install these using a hydraulic press, but I don’t have one so ended up using a block and rubber mallet. At least they are secure and I don’t have any concerns about them coming loose inside the valve train. The fitment around the tubes is good.
The main valve cover gasket is tight enough that it didn’t slip out of the groove upon installation, but could have been tighter. After torquing the cover down to the values specified in the shop manual using the replacement hardware in this kit, I can confirm that the cover does not leak after about 20 miles of test driving. So overall, the kit has accomplished what I needed from it, but I feel could have been a bit easier and higher in quality.
