After installing the radio on my 2014 Corolla, I really feel that the car has become more advanced. The 10-inch large screen is particularly clear, the touch is sensitive and responsive, and it feels like using a tablet. Wireless CarPlay is really good. When you get in the car, your phone automatically connects, and you can listen to music, navigate, and make calls without plugging in a line. The entire operating experience is smooth and convenient. The interface looks much more modern than the original system. The system runs smoothly without lag. It is very easy to switch apps or adjust the volume while driving. The sound effect is also better than the original radio, and the overall listening experience is cleaner. Even the Bluetooth is very stable and will not be disconnected easily.

Navigation on it is slow it glitches a lot and you have to reconnect to car play every time you get in your car plus it doesn’t lock into place for my 2016 Toyota Corolla

Easy to connect, everything works well. Expected for the SWC. Install in 2016 Corolla and the SWC are unable to connect to the stereo, have to be controlling volume and other functions manually by tapping on the screen directly.

This Android 13 Car radio Stereo was ordered to replace the stock system that came with the car (Corolla 2014 Base model). The first unit I received was defective (left vertical buttons didn’t work, system didn’t start up sometimes, etc . . .). I received a replacement from Amazon and this is for the 2nd unit which was not defective.
The unit was perfect fit for my car. All the pins and latches fitted into their opening with out any issue. The wiring requires some work but anyone with basic knowledge of cars electronic and wiring should have no issue.
One everything got connected, the buttons on the steering wheel did not work. According to instructions, once during the set up, you select the type and model of the car, everything should work including the steering wheel buttons. Well, they didn’t. For volume up and down, I had to initiate the “Learn” process and tell the unit about volume up and down button on the steering wheel and I was able to program those two buttons. But this is the only buttons I could program; the rest did not work (answer, hang up, etc.).
As far as the screen, there is so much glare on the screen during the day that sometimes you have to try to look at different angles to be able to see the parts of the screen you are looking for. The unit has an auto dimming feature that adjust the brightness of the screen for day time and night time. It works when you turn the key to ACC position but as soon as you start the engine, the auto dim feature does not work. As a result, the display is not bright enough during the day (even on the highest brightness) and it is too bright during the night time driving (even on the lowest brightness).
The internet WIFI antenna is not very good and I tried to use the unit GPS using my phone Hot Spot and it is very slow. Even browsing the net is extremely slow.
When I start the car, system starts automatically, and my phone connects to the unit Bluetooth fairly quick. A couple of time has been slow to boot but most of the time I am ready to go within a minute or two.
The buttons on the screen are not very responsive and sometimes it takes second or third or even fourth touch for a button to respond. There is also a lag sometimes on the buttons also.
The radio signal from the unit is pretty good and the sound is fairly good quality.
The Hazard switch opening is a bit too small for the hazard button and it has to be press hard sometimes to turn it on or off.
I have had it in my car for just a few days now and above is my initial experience with this unit. As I work with it more, I will update this review if I notice any major issues. So, My take: it communicates with the phone fairly good and if you are planning to use your phone as a source for GPS, music and other tasks; this unit may do the job. But if you plan to use the unit’s GPS, internet radios, or web browsing you may be disappointed.

It looks good and the size seems like a perfect fit for my 2016 Corolla. I haven’t installed it yet, so I can’t speak on the software or overall use, but it seems sturdy and well-made. I’ll update once it’s installed and I get a better sense of the interface and features.
