Alternator died 2 months after purchase. Amazon will not replace it since its past 30 days, and DB Electrical won’t process the 1 year warranty they claim to have on their website.

The order was placed through Amazon Prime, the order does not cross reference in our system. They are contractually obligated to honor our 1 year warranty. You must reach out to them.
Time to cancel Amazon Prime as they refuse to do anything about this.. Shame on you Amazon, I have never previously had a bad customer experience in the past.

Very good Alt, It fixed a big issue I had with my 49 8n. The big Alt was getting hit by the steering arm, but not anymore. Easy to hook up, and works very well to keep the battery charged. I get charge at around maybe 600 – 800 rpm.

This was a replacement for my Kubota mower and cheaper then a re-manufactured. All the electrical connections were the same as the existing alternator. Working perfectly as I write this review.

I installed mine on a 1974 Moto-Guzzi Eldorado motorcycle using a mounting kit I purchased from another source. I used it to replace the original DC generator and mechanical regulator (basically, the same thing they used to run on old Volkswagens). This upgrade gives me a constant 14 volts and eliminated a lot of the wiring from the stock system. I’ve been quite happy and would recommend it to anybody replacing a 50 year old charging system with modern technology.
