Works just like the old one. It’s not a bad job to do only thing I had to loosen and move some wires on the starter so I could plug it in other than that I’m completely satisfied with the product. It’s been working perfectly for several months now.

This starter didn’t even last 3 weeks before my car died. We took the starter to get it tested by 2 different people. They said it was too weak. And of course this happened 3 days after the return window.

Failed after 2 months of using. contacted the manufacturer by phone and email no response.
Contacted amazon and they can’t help. Amazon should stop selling this product.
So frustrating that Amazon can’t do anything. Amazon approved to sell this item and it’s Amazon responsibility but they don’t help.

I now have this brand new starter on all 3 of my Honda vehicles.
’07 Pilot, ’12 Civic, ’13 Pilot. why go with a questionable rebuilt unit when you can go 100% new. yeah it’s made in china, oh well. have not had an issue yet with any of my vehicles. it kicks and engages and spins strong all day every day. heat of summer, ice cold middle of winter, no issues. normally I would get these from rock auto website but the price difference forced me here to the amazon with free shipping and it got to my house fast. I can’t remember how well it was packaged but nothing was broken
