Debris will surely find its way into the blower causing future issues. Nice materials though, well built.

Perfect fit; in fact, looks identical to the original filter I removed from the 2019 Subaru Forester. This by far the easiest in-cabin filter I’ve ever replaced. No tools required, just remove the side swing-arm on the glove box and simultaniously push in on both sides of the glovebox at the same time. The filter is right behind the glovebox and slides right out/in.

I ordered 2 of these for my Foresters primarily because it was the first one that came up in the search and the price was reasonable. They arrived yesterday in plain white boxes except for one sticker (ie, no brand name). I inspected them and although it seemed a bit flimsy it looked like it would work. I took out the old (OEM) filter and inserted this one and found that it doesn’t click in like OEM/brand filters. It just sits there in the slot. It may work fine…only time will tell, however when it comes to replacing them I will probably go with a brand name…or at least one with a name!
