This was as advertised, installed easy enough and is working fine. I went about 3 hours+ on install, but I was moving slow, chasing kids around the yard, etc. One thing though, get a punch or something similar to knock out the bottom bolt/on the wheel hub. My ’04 Sunfire was rusted in tight and even with a lot of WD40 required a good pounding with an Engineering Hammer. It’s not the most ideal location to get a good swing, and you don’t want to foul the end of the bolt. Sway bar bushings added a little bit of time, and mine needed replacement (previous owner hit something on the driver side, original strut had busted spring and sway bars were attached with different kits).

Installed these on my ’02 cavalier to replace a broken spring on the OEM. Fitment was perfect and the ride quality is great.

After easy installation, everything was great. Within 2 weeks, I started to hear squeaking from right front strut, whenever I turned the wheel. It was winter and I thought it was because it was bitter cold, and thinking I had a warranty, and wait and see if it went away. It didn’t, it got worse. When I tried to get a replacement I was told the warranty is only 90 days.
The noise is so bad, I am going to try another brand. The ride was better, but the squeak was too much to stand.
Since I also bought the Rears at the same time from the same company, and they are making sounds also, I would not buy from them again.

I purchased these for a 2005 Chevy Cavalier.
I’m completely satisfied with the price, fit and ride quality. It included new upper mount hardware.

Easy 2 install, great value compared 2 auto repair shops, saved a lot of $$ buying from Detroit Axle and doing myself, would be easier with 2 people but possible 2 do it yourself!

Was exactly what I needed

I can’t say much on long they will last where I just installed today. Easy swap itself, but these do have a camber slots in the bottom bolt hole where it mounts to the spindle. So aligning the camber right took some time, but an easy fix would be let a shop do an alignment to get true camber/etc set.

They work fine but car seemed a little bit more hard to control the steering after installation and after a week it seems that is working better suspension quality she is not very good
