This alternator only lasted 37 days before it failed. Now past the 30 day mark for returns Amazon’s system is not allowing for any warranty claim with its automated responses. Next I’ll try the seller direct.

Was good when I first installed it but now it won’t work my car was in the shop fir 2vweeks due to transmission problems and come to figure out alternator wasn’t giving the right output so now battery is shot and it was new when I installed the alternator and because of not getting the right output the transmission went bad too

The alternator went in without any major issues and was running great for about 2 weeks. Then it started to give me intermittent problems. Did some testing and it would be fine for a while. You could load up all the accessories and the voltage drop would be within tolerance. Then a few hours later, the voltage would drop well below spec and wouldn’t even charge the battery.
After another week of intermittent issues, I had enough and pulled it and replaced it with an different manufacturer.

Installed as easy/difficult as expected, but I didn’t look closely at the plastic cap on the positive terminal to see that it was not the same as the one on my OEM alternator that failed. When I went to attach the cable, it wouldn’t fit because the cap did not have the notches/castles like the OEM cap, so I needed to uninstall the new alternator, swap the caps, and reinstall. I’m sure the cap that came with it fits other VQ35DE vehicles, but be sure to compare and swap them if needed.
Unit’s been installed for about 8 months now. I thought I was having problems with it due to other engine issues, but was able to confirm it was not the culprit. Otherwise shows steady charges of 14.2-14.3 per my onboard voltmeter and ECU/OBDII readings. Price is right, hope it lasts.

Bought this alternator. Never was good. Even bought a new battery thinking it was that. Car sat in the driveway for weeks. Had car tested and found out it was a bad alternator. Can’t even return it because it was over 30 days. What a waste of money!!!
