Looks just like factory parts
** just finished my rear brakes on my ’99 wrangler, the adjusters on the lower part of the assembly were machined incorrectly. New drum wouldn’t go on over the brake shoe assembly. Had to re-use old adjusters. Otherwise, this is a good brake kit. I would still recommend this.**

I purchased Power stop for my front brakes and they are lasting great, low brake dust and no squeaks. Stopping power is great considering price. All replacement parts were included, even rubber adjuster/inspection hole plugs! There were some extra parts in the hardware bags which might confuse some. If you haven’t replaced your rear brakes(drums) make sure to replace one at a time so you can reference the other side. Or you could take a picture before disassembling. I only gave 3 stars on easy to install because replacing rear drum brakes isn’t “easy” for most people.

The spring adjusting lever is too big and contacts the drum, it’s also the wrong shape and doesn’t come into contact with the adjuster wheel without modification. The drums were very poorly made and warped immediately.
Vender never responded to inquiries about fixing the issue.

I got these for my 1991 Jeep Cherokee XJ that has 9″ brakes.
I noticed right away they are higher quality than OEM parts from your local auto parts store and a hell of a lot cheaper by far.
The only problem I can see and had had was with the included hardware. First is, all hardware is in 3 separate bags and anyone who is attempting a drum brake replacement for the first time can get confused if they don’t know that each side is specific even though they look exactly the same but upon examination they are different because they are reversed. So if you’re attempting a drum brake replacement for the first time, lay out the hardware in a pile from each bag and whatever side you start with examine each piece with the parts you start to disassemble so you don’t use the wrong side parts.
The bags have part numbers on them and probably can look them up to see which side is which, but for me I can identify them just by looking.
I have been doing drum brake replacement since 1980 and I can almost feel what parts go on what side.
Which brings me to the second issue, maybe not so much of an issue for me but for someone doing this for the first time might run into a problem.
The parts are so high quality that I had a small issue resembling them. The retaining springs are very unforgiving trying to compress and twist the retaining cap to the stud as well as the parking brake spreader bracket spring. But having experience with drum brakes helps by knowing tricks that can give you a third hand. If you are doing a drum brake replacement for the first time, I suggest that you watch more than one video a few times so you can familiarize yourself with the parts, disassembly and reassembly and if possible have somebody with drum brake experience to help out.
This is a very strong 5 star review and when I see some reviews that are less than 5 or negative because they had issues due to lack of experience is not a fair review.
Like I mentioned, I have drum brake experience, in fact most of my cars I used to own back in the day had drum brakes on front and rear so I think I know a thing or two.
So in closing, I highly recommend this drum brake combo not just for the price but for the quality parts. After I reassembled them it was a nice fit and everything is solid and works better than they ever did. 5 Stars.

Looks great on the Jeep, no more rusty drums.
Easy installation, well as easy as drum brakes can be. No issue with fit. Performance seems to be improved.

Direct replacement fpr my 2000 wrangler. I used all the new hardware and it was nice to have all new springs and keepers

I watched some videos on how to do this (look up chrisfix on youtube for great tutorials) and was able to do this in an afternoon on my jeep YJ. The kit included all the replacement hardware (springs, adjusters, etc.) that I needed except for the wheel cylinder—those are not part of this kit, but I opted to replace those as well since they’re cheap. I like that they even included little to-go packets of brake grease for the components that need lubrication.
I highly recommend taking pictures of everything after you take the drum off but before you disassemble the rest of the assembly. It was really helpful to have the pictures to refer to as I started putting it all back together. Also I suggest getting a pair of brake spring pliers that have the tool to remove and install the top springs on the handle as well as a tool to compress and twist the shoe retaining springs. The right tools make all the difference here, and they’re inexpensive.
The only thing I didn’t like about this kit was the cable guide that’s provided; it was too big and the adjuster cable pressed against the inside of the rear shoe. I ended up reusing the old one after cleaning it off. If I didn’t already have one to fall back on, I probably wouldn’t be quite so generous in my review.
But overall I’m really happy to have quiet rear brakes and to have my parking brake actually work once again! I love that I won’t have to worry about this part of my jeep for a while and can focus on other parts of it now.

Everything fit on my 95 jeep wrangler except the adjuster. The old or new drums would not fit using the new adjuster I had to reuse the old adjusters.

I’m no expert but the parts all seemed to be good quality. The kit comes complete with all the parts needed to replace your Drum Brakes.
