After returning two other charging cords for my Nuvi 2797LMT that didn’t work, I am very happy to say, this cord did the trick. Hooked up my Nuvi with this charger cord and it worked perfectly!

My Garmin DEZL OTR700 power cable failed, I did’t want the old cigarette plug for my replacement. I found this cable to be the perfect solution as most vehicles now have USB-C outlets. You can also get a USB-C to cigarette plug adapter.
I purchase to of these cables 1 for a backup.

Apparently new rental cars only come with USB C plugs
Had to get this for my portable GPS, yes I still use one while traveling.
