I bought this to go on my 2001 dodge ram, 5.2l magnum v8. I replaced the factory intake breather tube with a paper breather because im running thicker oil with higher compression and the crank case pressure was causing the motor to stall until i opened up the breather for more airflow, pcv left factory… this breather is very well made, very sturdy and its actually slightly shorter in height than the spectre paper filter breathers i found in the stores, in looks good, im gonna assume it breaths better at WOT, and whats nice is it also comes with a foam filter inside the synthetic media to catch potential oil residue before it sprays out of the breather (which is a sign your pcv isnt doing its job anyway or you have excessive blowby) but you can take the foam out easily with needle nose pliers if you dont want it. Very satisfied with the product and i will be buying these from now on for my other builds as well.
