Product looks genuine and fitted easily.
Make sure you install it the right way, otherwise the cover won’t close.

Got it for my FR-S. Fits but a different design that the OEM filter and others that copy the OEM design. Seems to have less filtering media and is surrounded by rubber on the outer edges and center support. Used Fram filter coming out the vehicle used for comparison. I’ll try it and see how it looks like after 5k and maybe 7k and 10k. Depends on how dirty it is after 5k.

I have talked to many race engine builders. They have all told me you always want to use paper filters that are disposable, not oiled filters like K&N. The reason for this is the oil will get sucked through the filter and eventually cover the filaments on the mass air flow sensor. Something not many people think about. This will eventually make the MAF sensor give the wrong air readings which In turn makes the computer send the wrong amount of fuel. This messes up the air/fuel ratio and you engine will never run correctly. Trust me, I’ve tried every filter on the market and all the cold air intakes. They never help until you reprogram the ECU with something like a hypertech, or get an additional engine management computer. Which I did, On my 350Z, And it did cost $1000. So unless you are ready to shell out serious money, stick with WIX and change every 10K – 20K depending on how dirty they get.

A nice air filter , good price, fit well. The rubber (silicone?) gasket seems really high quality and durable. The filtering material is sturdy. Flow seems good (responsive low end power and getting decent gas millage). I’ve seen other discussions praising WIX filters and this will be my go-to brand.

The outer support framing was much too thick for my 2006 Vibe . This made it very difficult to close .The one that I removed was an easy drop in and go — made for my Vibe . This is the first time that must say “never a Wix filter for my Vibe “.
