It was a good price

I bought this set up eight, as all eight were less than half of a single OEM part. I just blindly replaced the front four and fixed the problem on the fourth one; I didn’t bother with replacing the back four since they are harder to get to. My check engine light went out in a day or two, probably after restarting the engine five or six times, and passed emissions. I’ll likely just keep the last four of the coils for spares.
These were a drop-in replacement for a 4.6L NorthStar V8 in a 2008 Buick Lucerne Super, about 85,000 miles. I did find a couple Cadillac STS or CTS in a junkyard, but I can’t recall if those were six or eight-cylinder motors (I wanna say they were V6s); anyway, those coils were different and would NOT fit my Lucerne.
Incidentally, I did replace the spark plugs first, as I expected those to be the cheapest to start with. I bought the cheapest plugs at Advanced Auto for $90 for the set (wtf?), and was irritated to find a set on Amazon for ~$35. Obviously, my problem wasn’t the plugs. I replaced them anyway, but wish I hadn’t because the original plugs looked brand new – evidently the ‘Iridium’ style electrodes last forever and I believe it now.

They were very easy to install. They worked great and fixed the misfire in cylinder 4.The Mpg went from 21mpg to 28mpg.A cheap upgrade from old ignition coils.I bought spark plugs but didnt install them yet to see if the coils were the problem.paid 45 dollars for thesegreat price for a quick fix.Used for a 2016 Buick Regal turbo2 2.0l engine.Drove around 20 miles and it ran fine.

I have a 2011 chevrolet cruze LS 1.8 and these are perfect! Came in perfect condition and everything! I’m glad I was able to find these vs the 100+ from auto stores!

I put these in my 2.4L 2005 Chevy Trailblazer and they worked perfectly. I was getting a lot of trouble with my engine misfiring and stalling. I even changed the spark plugs, and when that didn’t work, I moved on to the ignition coils. These worked nicely and now my engine is running smooth as ever. For the price you really can’t beat it. You cant even buy one of these from the auto store for that price, to get all six is a fantastic deal.

Honesty, between the one that was in my car already and the new one, you couldn’t tell me they weren’t identical or a factory coil pack. Very easy and straightforward to replace.
The misfire went away and I have no complaints. Definitely a huge saving over oem.
