This unit is well made but it needs should be sure not to overload it. This will not start a car or other high amperage uses. It’s for the little things as converting 5.1vdc to 12vdc is a task. If you have to power motors or high demand 12vdc better by a jump starter. This was great for my purpose…. not starting a car!

Tried to use 12 v mini heater and needed a 12v to male a usb and the second I plugged it in and turned it on it stopped working. Doesn’t even light up for voltage. The whole reason I bought it and now I can’t use the heater.

Lots of cord if you need it, display with voltage is very handy, even better has on/off switch! I have a camera monitor I was tired of hogging my only outlet, it also had no on/off switch. Now I plug this into my Samsung charger and have the usbc outlet open on the charger for my phone. I thought I’d still have to unplug it when I want the monitor off but I didn’t realize at first that this has the switch.
