The shaft that was sent to me was about 2 inches short. Buyer be aware, measure your OEM part before taking the word of seller that this part is an exact fit…I’m not a mechanic by trade, I like to challenge myself and save a little money while doing my own mechanic work, but this was too great a challenge considering I had no choice but to piece the old and new parts together to make it work. After several hours of head scratching with experienced help, we came up with something to get me on the road again without sending part back and waiting for who knows how long for a replacement. The old parts carrier barring was so worn out that I had to Frankenstein the new and old together (not recommended) to get my car on the road again. I am a little more than annoyed, mostly at myself for taking the word of sellers “exact fitment” description over my ignorance to measure parts. The only reason I’m giving this review 1 star is because you have to give it a rating in order to leave the review, otherwise I wouldn’t have given it even 1 star

Replaced a factory DL that has the crimped-in U-joints. This fit perfectly (measure yours well, there are a number of different lengths) and seems well-balanced. Pro: the U-joints are just pressed-in, so they can be replaced if need be (unlike the factory one). Overall, customer is happy with it. Will update review if issues arise.

Couldn’t figure out from the reviews if this would definitely fit. Other reviews mentioned minor issues with other vehicles.
I had a mechanic install it for me. He reported no issues or concerns. I’ll update if it doesn’t last but so far it is working. It was no harder or easier to install than OEM.
This is an older car and I don’t drive it much so I may not know what it would be like to do a lot of highway or off road driving with it.
Compared to the OEM price it’s a good value.

Driveshaft was absolutely junk. Only lasted 6 months in service. Cardinal joint wasn’t greased from the manufacture and the U-Joint was improperly installed. I would advise looking elsewhere for a driveshaft.

Everything was a match but it was designed for a shorter wheelbase or different year model possibly. Because of the length. Make sure if your year model is correct and wheelbase when ordering

My Rescue Rover driveshaft had a bad center bearing and when I took it out to replace the center bearing I found the u joints and CV joints were notchy, so I opted to replace the whole shaft. The Scitoo driveshaft fits like a factory shaft but there is a vibration that starts at about 55 MPH and gets harsher the faster you go. That is the symptom of an unbalanced driveshaft, in the past I have replaced the driveshaft with a Britpart shaft that was balanced so I’m familiar with how a LR3 should feel.
The packing was inadequate, the foam shaft holders were proabably too soft and left the shaft loose in the box.
It will work until I get a better quality brand. Does the job for now.

Ended up selling our 2010 Ford Edge the day after I installed this and a new transfer case. Everything seemed well balanced and fit nicely on the test drive after install. Packaging is appalling. My dad looked at the box and said “that thing looks like it’s been through World War 3.”
