Installed this CV axle and in less than 200 miles both the inner and outer boots split open and the grease went everywhere. I was driving on the interstate headed to our family vacation when this happened and of course in the middle of nowhere. Limped down the road 20 miles until I was able to find an auto repair shop that could replace the CV axle right away for me. When they compared the new CV axle they ordered to this one, the Cardone was over an inch shorter, and yes, both were fully compressed when measured/compared. Needless to say I was not happy.
