Out of the box, this carburetor will directly bolt onto the block and the included gaskets look good. I set the needles to the old carb adjustments and it fired right up. Construction quality looks good. The one fitment issue was with the air cleaner mounting plate that bolts up to the front of the carb. The hole pattern was very slightly off, so I drilled out my mounting plate holes 1/16 larger and everything bolted together.
Also, you will note that the backside of the venturi has a square shoulder instead of a chamfer. I don’t know if this affects performance, but its another difference.

Carb world great just had to modify extensively to fit the application it was listed for. The choke “arm” was wrong -see photo. I had to weld a different one on (90 degrees from the original) both the throttle “arm” and the remaining choke arm needed to be cut off for the stock air cleaner to work. Works great now but don’t buy with the intention of just bolting on and go

Worked very well for roughly 2 months then it kept flooding and pouring out the fuel and I found out the float had failed.
Otherwise the Carburetor itself got my kohlar running much better than the original carb
