I installed these brake pads on a Kia Soul. When I inspected them prior to install I did not notice, and manufacturing defects and they fit perfectly when installed. Having driven with them on for a few months now, I have noticed that they do their job well however they do seem slightly louder than other brakes I have used. Nonetheless, for the price point they work well and stop the car and are not terribly loud, its only at a very slow roll that you can truly hear any noise.
