My new to me 2001 Subaru Legacy GT (manual) was throwing the engine code P1133 which has to do with the circuitry being wrong on the front O2 sensor. This was keeping me from passing emissions testing in Washington State.
I did some research and discovered in the forums that most fixed this by simply replacing the sensor. Since Denso makes the OEM sensor I saved some money and ordered it from Amazon.
Problem was that even with the Powerbuilt 648691 Oxygen Sensor Offset Puller I could not get an angle using my 6 or 7 inch 3/8 inch ratchet. As such I had to spend $120 at a local shop to replace it for me.
So if you plan to buy the O2 sensor socket make sure you have a LONG ratchet and likely one with a swivel head as I was unable to find the space under my subaru to be succesful with the regular 3/8 inch ratchet.
Good news though is that my check engine light code went away after I cleared it and has not come back. Very satisfied with this on my Legacy and now I am noticing that the engine revs faster then before. Likely meaning I am generating more power. Win win.

My original oxygen sensor had lasted 180,000 miles, but the heater circuit burnt out and I was getting a check engine light. This part was a perfect fit for my 2001 Subaru Outback 2.5L and fixed my problem.

The part came in the original Denso box with a tube of thread anti-lock cream. My 2000 Subaru Impreza’s check engine light came on and the OBD-II error code was a P1133, replace the air fuel mixture front oxygen sensor, Denso Part 234-9018. Originally, Amazon claimed that the Denso 234-9018 was the wrong part. But I checked other vendors and this was the correct part.
I had a bear of a time disconnecting the oxygen sensor from the wiring harness since the drive shaft is in the way coming from underneath the car. Unscrewing the old oxygen sensor was easy with a 22mm box wrench. The whole job took less than a 1/2 hour. Started the car a couple of times and the check engine light turned off.
I made the mistake of ordering this part with a book I wanted – BIG MISTAKE! Amazon waited to assemble the package 10 days before I got the part. Needless to say, I would have gotten the part in 3-4 days if I had ordered the part by itself. If you need an oxygen sensor, Amazon has the best price for this OEM part.

Works perfect on my 2000 Subaru outback/manual transmission wagon. I was getting code P1133 that I could clear for only a few seconds before re-appearing. This is 60% the price of the dealer part, cheaper than the local auto parts stores and is truly “plug and play”. Internet recon says this is the OEM part but without the subaru brand on it. My experience verifies the claim of equivalency. Amazon’s price is competitive and I was able to wait 2 days before starting the job (fortunately).
I bought the Powerbuilt 648691 Sensor puller with this. Without that $10 tool this job would be MUCH harder. As it was it took about an hour including waiting for the penetrating oil to work in a frozen thread for 20 minutes.

Just received today, have not tried to install yet.
Upon opening box, I noticed that the plastic bag containing the sensor had been cut opened and the Anti-seize packet was missing. Although the sensor appeared to be unused, I hope that after going through the install process that it is new and has just been returned.

It took a while, finally I was able to find the location of the front oxygen sensor on my vehicle and got it installed. Started the car up, did a scan, cleared the codes, rechecked codes, check engine light stayed off. After driving around for several days without the check light reappearing, I am calling the repair a success.
