This is the input sensor, not the output sensor, as another reviewer mentioned. I needed the input sensor, so I was willing to take the gamble that the description was wrong. Works beautifully, easy to install and made the P0715 error code go away.
Sensor was installed on a 2006 mazda 3 2.0l.

If you’re receiving the error code p0715(input turbine speed sensor circuit malfunction) then this the fix for you! I own a 2004 Mazda 3 2.3L and one day my car just decided to shift down one gear(4-3) accompanied by a horrible jerk & will stay like that after you drive a certain distance and make a complete stop. I bought this sensor after verifying on Haynes repair manual for the mazda3 and boy it was better then spending the $150 on repairs, I was able to switch the sensors in less than a hour!

It was a direct drop in for my 2010 Mazda 3 5 speed
