Bought this part for a 2009 jaguar xf. It has a float that is somehow lodged inside triggering a low coolant level light on dash. After checking the level and it being right where it supposed to be I did research on the issue and found the information about the float that gets lodged. Results are that I have to buy another new reservoir

replaced the 13 year old tank on an X350. fitment is fine sensor works, reused the old cap.
great option if you’re not planning on keeping the car, i doubt it will last as long as OE but it’s less than half the cost. OE tanks built in the last decade shouldn’t have the same issue where the nipple breaks off (refer to TSB).

Seemed to fit fine, but the top hose nipple has broken off now, after 20 months of use.
I have been careful to not lean on that area and hose to try and avoid this issue, so a little disappointed.
