The sensor is made to be used on multiple vehicles, so the air intake connections on each end are attached separately. Mine arrived with one of them not attached, so I had to epoxy it in place. Not a big deal, but you do want to be careful, as any leaks will affect the way the car runs.
I could have exchanged it, but it was faster and easier to just fix it.
I’d still buy it again; this is half what Rock Auto charges for the same part.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! I bought this for my 1994 1.8 Mazda Miata and read all the specs and the description claimed this will work for my car but it does not. It causes surges and fluctuates up and down when idling. My computer is not reading the correct fuel to air ratio because of this MAF. I’m extremely disappointed with this product and its false advertisement. Do not buy this product.
