I saw a ton of 1-2star reviews because people didn’t know how to reinstall this sensor. You can’t just jam it in and tighten the screws. You’ll bust it in half.
Look at the inside of both the sensor and the part that you insert. You have to put it in slightly twisted, then like the screw holes up. If you don’t, you’ll split it in half. Ask me how I know lol

Bought this for my 2006 Dodge Ram 5.7l Hemi as all symptoms lead to the belief that the TPS had gone bad. Found this item. Checked fitment. Listing says it fits so I bought it. Come to find out the 5.7l Hemi DOESN’T HAVE A STAND ALONE TPS. The TPS on the 5.7 is integrated into the throttle body. Waste of time and money. I blame myself though for not researching further. Either way, fix your fitment guide because it’s wrong!

Do not go cheap on your vehicle sensor replacement parts. It last about 6 months then the rough running came back. Replaced the cheap one with NGK NTK brand, the OEM supplier. Still < $30 for peace of mind 😁

I had read most of the aftermarket TPS sensors don’t work for these jeeps. But I have had a couple worked for awhile anyway. Not this one. Idles at 2100 rpm and will not drop. This was not the issues with the previous broken TPS. Guess I will have to order Mopar.
