As others have pointed out the sample image as of April 2015 is not accurate. The unit fits in my 2009 Lancer VRX 2.4L which originally had a CD slot. Now I was able to instal a standard 6″ LCD double din system. Fits well but not 100% flush along the top. Great price. Just annoying that there’s only one expensive international shipping price to New Zealand. Glad I brought it.

Good product, fits nice. Texture and color are close, but not an exact match.This is the reason I’m only giving it 4 stars.
You will need to mount the radio using the original radio brackets. I had a different dash kit I was replacing which didn’t use the brackets and tossed them years ago. So I had to get new brackets from the dealer to make this work. But a much better install now.
The pocket which comes with it for single DIN usages is nice and tall. Taller than my prior one which now allows my wallet to fit.

Came in time as promise with decent packaging and no damage. Fits pretty good for my standard. Would recommend but always double check the size indication to make sure is the right fit for your radio

Very easy to install and fits great after I replaced the black clips with the old radio white clips, only thing I had problem with is the vents fitting properly. The vents set but one is a little clunky and sometimes won’t move at all. Otherwise just what I needed to Finnish my nice sound system install.

I bought this after buying the UK “Connects2” fascia kit, which is actually a rebranded Metra.
The fit is diabolical, and the item was built from a completely different plastic to the Lancer dashboard.
Scosche have created a kit which looks and fits so much better, I am very pleased with this (although postage to the UK cost more than the item!).
I have a Lancer GS2 Sportback Diesel (2010) and this fits perfectly with my Kenwood DDX-4023BT.

easy to install and I like the color, is not exactly the same color but it is quite close. actually you can barely note the difference, and for some reason I wanted the have the screen behind the frame and this dash kit did the job perfectly. best dash kit installed on the Lancer EX 2008 🙂 happy with my purchase.

Product color is off no where near oem colors the mold itself appeared to be untrimmed in areas as dash piece wouldn’t sit right. The clips all broke, very fragile plastic had to use oem ones. It is installed and does work I would just be ware of these issues. I’ve purchased a lot of car audio dash kits this is by far the lowest quality one I’ve received yet.

Fits perfectly, the shade blends well with the dash board, I was able to use the place holder below the radio as a storage area. I would definitely recommend this dash kit.

First off, like others said the default picture is not the right product. I’ve included pictures of what it will look like.
The quality of the plastic is high, and the fit is pretty good. I can notice a very slight gap at the top, but its small, and there may have been a gap with the stock dash piece, I don’t remember.
It fits perfectly with my double din Pioneer head unit, does not get in the way of the motorized screen in any way.
Installation is easy and includes everything you need in case you go single-din. It doesn’t include any mounting supports for your head unit, which is good, as you don’t need any. You use the factory head unit mount for your new unit, keeps it secure and sturdy compared to other dash kits I’ve helped install on other cars.
The only downside is the trim clips. I don’t know what they are actually called, but on the stock piece they are white, on this piece they are black. Seems like these black clips are slightly inferior as if you try and take off the new dash kit some of the black clips won’t come off with the trim as they should and you might lose a few behind your dash as I did. I replaced some of my lost clips with the stock white clips from the old dash trim, so no biggie.
Overall this looks great, fits well, and at a great price.
