So I bought a cple of these phone holders I gta say their pretty cool better than i expected a lil piece u screw on broke but I contacted the seller and he was super cool no questions asked he sent me a cple of the screw on things just incase and on top of that he sent me another phone holder I think the first one was just defected because mine and my 2 nieces work just fine.it holds ur phone wherever u want it .very satisfied gna but a cple more , more friends and family men Evers want one 👍🏼I love amazon and the sellers are awesome as well

Lives up to its function; durable neck (but a little too stiff to bend about), phone clamp holds my S7 easily, the clamp for the desk is easily adjusted (twisting motion) to fit almost any desk/edge

I finally got around to setting up this phone holder, but no matter what I did, it was like my phone was too top heavy. The goose neck part is too wimpy. The grasping claw and the attachment part are fine, but it just doesn’t stay upright or in the position I need it to. Money well wasted.

The first thing I noticed when I opened the box was how incredibly sturdy the goose neck is. It’s rubber coated metal and is really hard to bend, which is great. That’s where the quality ends. On each end of this thing is cheap, brittle plastic that cannot support the weight of the goose beck with a phone attached. As I screwed the clamp onto the end of a table I knew it would snap if I tightened it down enough to keep the thing in place. The hair clamp style clip that grabs the phone is cheap with a frail spring. It’s really a sad waste of everyone’s time. It’s an awkward, ill-designed dollar store failure.

Maybe it’s just the tables I am using but when I put my phone (iphone7) in this stand the stand falls off the edge. The mechanism that holds it on the edge is plastic and very weak. I can’t move the cable around when it’s attached to the table because it just falls off. One of the plastic ‘claws’ that hold the phone also broke. The cable is very sturdy and has the ability to support the phones weight. This did not work for what I need it for.

I love my cell phone holder! It’s great for improving your posture if you’ve grown tired of stiff necks. The clamp works well and I haven’t had trouble with it. I have an lg stylo phone with a case and the holder works with it well. My husband prefers to take his case off as it can cause the holder to shake when he touches the phone. This isn’t really a problem for me most likely because I have a softer touch when handling the phone. The neck also works great and even has a joint so you can angle your phone how you want. I will most likely be getting more of these as little gifts especially since they’re universal.

The neck of this is a little too stiff to make it really usable. The neck (wire) is very long on this so it can be like wrangling a snake to get it where you want it. It’s so stiff I feared breaking the plastic parts off it before getting it aligned where I needed it.
I have another unit with a suction cup and it was much more flexible than this one but a factor of 10 yet still holds my iPhone 7+ just fine so there is no need to have it this stiff. In case you wonder what the magic is under the black neck, it’s a solid wire of aluminum.
The clamp will hold to a table just fine but be sure to bend it where you want it first or you will just have to keep fastening it to the table because it will fall off as you bend it.
I was not sure how the “hair clip” (sorry that’s what it reminds me of) would hold my oversized phone with a case on it but it did OK, I did not fear it falling off as long as it’s still and not say in a moving vehicle or walking around with it.
I would not buy it again (do almost totally to the stiffness) but I will keep it around and may use it again but will work out another solution for my day to day use (I make how to videos and often my camera is pointed down at a table)

I love this thing! I have a job that requires me to consult my phone frequently. Rather than picking it up and putting it down over and over, I just clamp it into this, and steady it slightly when I need to swipe it. I’ve gotten to a point where I just leave it on the holder to charge, too.
I needed a holder that wouldn’t press the side buttons (power/volume) on an HTC 10, and the space between the fingers is just right (I do need to watch where I place it, but it fits right around the side buttons). The grip is tight, and the holder stays where I put it. I really love this thing! It’s made my job so much easier. Seems like a trivial thing, but after you drop your new phone several times from constantly picking it up and putting it down, this really does make a difference. So glad I bought it!

The phone holder works well with my Nexus 5x, I can’t really imagine it having any problems holding any phone, but it isn’t big enough for even small tablets. I had some problems clamping it to my headboard, because my headboard is painted and has a smooth finish, and the arm that holds the phone is so stiff, it isn’t able to get a strong grip and tends to move around. If I tighten it too much it might break the plastic, and since it is lose enough to move around it damaged the cheap paint on my Ikea bed. All of these problems can be fixed by drilling a 1″ hole in the headboard and mounting it through that hole. It is definitely wort taking 5 minutes and doing that, because now it works perfectly and there really are no parts under enough stress to break.
