These are great! We have bought two now (first broke by one of our kids). Charge fairly quickly, don’t put off much heat, weight is good, and build quality is fantastic. These are perfect for vacation. Pick whichever vent is most convenient. Installation takes 2-3 minutes.

LOVE this cell phone dock! The charging is super fast, the thing holds really well. The ONLY thing I wish is that it was more sturdy while driving bumpy roads…Portions of the high ways I travel have the big cement heaves that made it bounce my cellphone up and down. It holds the cellphone no problem, but it’s like holding your cellphone on the end of a rod, the little motions your car goes through are amplified at the end of the pole. This thing is super fancy and I bought it WITH the same brand’s USB charger lighter plug which gives it the most power it needs. My other plugs didn’t give it enough juice! Both are super reasonably prices, very well made and I’ll be giving these to my coworkers as gifts for sure this christmas…unless they make a new one! LOL
I have literally tried every single car mount option at NAPA auto, Autozone, Bestbuy, my cellphone carrier, Marshalls and HomeGoods…they are BLOW in comparison! I’ve spend HUNDREDS of dollars buying and returning garbage systems before finding this beauty! DO NOT SKIP THIS! I wish they offered a package deal with their USB charging car socket. I would have bought the package deal instead!

I’ve tried many charger mounts and this is the one I’ve settled on. The vent clamp is super reliable – it’s never fallen or loosened – and it retains a bit of charge so you can open it to remove your phone even after it stops receiving power. The buttons to open it are physical, which is less error-prone than touch sensors, and I haven’t had any issues with the sensor that causes it to close.
The indents to prevent pressing the volume buttons are not perfect for every phone/case but there’s no issues with my current phone. The bottom is adjustable and could be kept high to alleviate this, but there is no way to lock it in place so it could get pushed down again over time so that’s not perfect either. For phones with volume buttons placed high, this is not an issue. Otherwise, I would probably glue or tape the bottom to the preferred height. The light is always on while it’s receiving power, which could be annoying to some.
Despite that, I’ve had this for 2 years and I’m really happy with it.

Product works better than described. My wife liked it so much she had me order one for her car. charges my Galaxy S25 and her iPhone fast. The arms hold the phone tight and secure. My car has round vents, the adapter provided for these types of vents works great! Definitely recommend you try.

So this is like a long-term review. I want to say in general this is the best vent mounted charger that I’ve used. The way it attaches and tightens onto the vent is the best setup. It charges great and that end of it works perfect. To the problems, the bottom of the phone is held by an adjustable clip. There isn’t enough tension on it so it just ends up in the lowest position. In the lowest position, the sidearms are squeezing on my volume and the charging is sporadic. Also, the sidearms that squeeze tightly around your phone to hold it in place…on one of the two we have the right arm doesn’t tighten anymore. Luckily the left arm goes in far enough to lock it in place. Even with its faults. This is the best charger that I’ve used and I’ve bought and tried a bunch of them. If they fix these couple things they’d have a super solid product.

I got this for the charging cradle, I drive a JK wrangler so vent mounts that came with this are not useable.
It does came with a standard ball connector so easily attached to my hard mount. The mechanism to open and close is a joy to use and even just watch. It charges well and what I am pretty sure is a capacitor not a battery does allow it to open once even after power is turned off. The cable that came with it does work better than any of my other USB c cables. It’s almost like there is an additional detent in the socket that snaps theirs into place. For the money it was much better than expected and I highly recommend it.
