I spent about 20 minutes putting this mount together but it will probably be faster for you if you pay attention to the 2 different screw sizes and where they go before screwing them in. LOL The instructions do mention 15mm and 20mm and there to put them but they are so similar in size, I didn’t notice the 8 screws in that bag were not the same until I had already screwed in 3 of the bigger ones on the magnets. So I had to remove them and put the 15mm ones there.
Other than that, putting this mount together was pretty straightforward with 2 cards with colorful pictures and simple enough instructions. One card is to put together the mount itself and the other to install the Starlink Gen 3 device.
The mount seems very well-built, with strong magnets, easy to use, and a great value for the money. I would recommend it! I will update the pictures once I have it up on my RV! 🙂

requires a decent amount of assembly but isn’t overly complicated. I do wish it had black hardware rather than silver, as i think it would look nicer, especially since the magnets are black. the magnets are very strong and will hold the dish well, especially with all 4 helping to distribute the weight/force. my favorite thing about this mount is that it offers a “locking” option to keep the dish attached, whereas many other mounts rely strictly on the plastic tabs/factory clip-in mount. This makes me less hesitant to leave my dish on it long term than some of the other mounts i’ve tried. I will say, it seems a bit expensive for what it is, but, the fitment is nice.

I needed a reliable way to mount my Starlink Gen 3 for use on the road, and this kit checked all the boxes. The magnets are incredibly strong and this thing doesn’t budge, even at highway speeds!
Assembly was required, as the kit comes in multiple pieces with many screws, but it only took about 10 minutes to put together. Once assembled, the installation was straightforward. I mounted it on a truck with a flat roof, and the fit was perfect, no issues with alignment. The design also makes it easy to remove when not in use, without leaving marks or needing tools.
It’s not designed for curved or uneven surfaces, but for flat metal rooftops, it does exactly what it’s supposed to and the size is manageable.

When ordering I missed the part about having a flat roof. My SUV has ridges on the roof and the spacing of the mount doesn’t quite fit between the ridges, but the magnets seem strong enough with 80% coverage on the top of the ridges that the mount shouldn’t move around while driving at freeway speeds. Even though the magnets are strong, pulling up at an angle makes it somewhat easy to pull it off the vehicle.
Assembling this mount only took a few minutes and was easy. The one subtilty is that there are two slightly different lengths of bolts. The longer ones are for mounting the Base adapter to the rails. The shorter ones do not quite extend far enough to get the nut on when mounting the base. Often I see products come with a lock washer only for the nut side of the bolt but this product comes with lock washers for both sides. It should keep the nuts from backing off but I added blue thread lock for extra piece of mind.

My starlink fits nice and secure in to this mount. the bulid quality is nice however i wish that the bracket was all metal instead of plastic, however with the plastic it seems as if its a more durable plastic so it seems stronger then others. When my starlink is mounted in there it dosent move around much and seems like its pretty secure. My truck is an aluminium body so that the magnets dont stick to it however there is other place that I can attach it to my truck and still have it in the right position to gather a good strong signal and get great service. I bought this so when I go out camping I could use it with my trailer and to be able to have phone and internet while out in the middle of no where. I know that you are not supposed to drive fast on it but i am sure that you can. if your only going about 25 miles it will be just fine so you can attatch it to the car or trailer and have sevice on the go while your out no where. the build quality is great and I would reccomend this to others. they also make a starlink mini mount that I will get from them once my mini gets here for my side by side or backpack when i go hiking
