When I was browsing for a Magsafe car mount, I found this design very eye-catching, which prompted me to buy it.
The frame looks beautiful when mounted. It is sturdy and rotatable in every direction. The joints hold in place after being tightened with the Allen wrench that comes with the package. I also like the adjustable length.
The magnet is fairly strong but not as strong as I expected. I use an Android phone, which doesn’t have a built-in magnet, and I also use a soft TPU case like most people. The magnet is not strong enough to hold the phone if the metal plate is inside the TPU case, although the case is 0.7-0.8 mm thick. So I had to stick the metal plate to the outside of the case.
The holder is easy to install on the dashboard, but the glue is also not very strong. It stays in place without the phone being mounted on it but comes off fairly easily when driving on an uneven road with the phone mounted.
These 2 material improvements would earn this car mount 5 stars, and I would recommend this product with a bit of caution.

The package arrived dirty, as if someone had handled it with greasy hands, which was disappointing. However, the branding and packaging were otherwise decent, and the product was adequately protected, though the tray inside felt flimsy. Build quality can be better though as I see some manufacturing defect. Maybe I just got dud, but either way, it’s not that bad.
As for the mount itself, I absolutely love it. It has that industrial, cross-beam aesthetic I was looking for, and the weight adds a nice stability. Installing it in my car was straightforward, and the mount offers a wide range of motion, allowing you to position it just right. A tip, though: make sure to tighten the rotating base before sticking it to your car, as the adhesive is strong, and adjusting it afterward is tricky. I learned the hard way and ended up with a slightly loose base. Overall, it’s a solid MagSafe phone mount that gets the job done well. Your phone will stay in there pretty firmly.

I used to have a magnet for my phone to stick to the dashboard of my truck that I liked. It’s lasted a few years. The only thing I didn’t like was that my phone didn’t lay flat on anything because the magnet stuck out like a walnut. So I decided to try a cordless magnetic charger and car mounts. This phone holder has a very strong magnet and I have to actually pull the phone off of it. The first time the glue sticky stuff that holds the base to the dashboard gave way and let go. I’m not going to use a stronger glue because I don’t want to damage my dashboard. I found a flatter spot and tried to stick it down again. This time it stuck pretty well, so I positioned the arm so that I could see the phone easily when I need it as a GPS map. Every time I hit the slightest bump, the arm sagged so that my phone face was looking at the floor. I’ll say no more

I’ve been using the Magnetic Phone Holder for my car for a couple of months now, and it has held up incredibly well. The mount has stuck perfectly in place, showing no signs of coming loose, even after consistent use. The magnet itself remains strong and maintains a solid connection to my iPhone 16 Pro, despite the fact that I’m using a somewhat unique case from UAG that has ridges and a separate folding magnetic part.
Pros:

This is a great phone holder. Lots of adjustments to get just the right view. I installed it on the windshield and works fine so far even though the glass has a slight curve in it. I have stiff suspension and it wobbled once in awhile but stayed up, so no big deal. We’ll see if it stays there. The directions are horrible. You get all these extra parts that I wasn’t sure what to do with. After tons of research I figured all of them out but one. I just took the tape off the base and stuck it on.

To start, I really really really like this car mount. The first thing that really annoyed me was when I mounted it, it didn’t stay up for 20 minutes on the cheap sticky portion that they had on there. So I tried the second sticky residue they had for it, it stayed for about 2 days before falling off on a warm day. Because of this, and I really liking the mount, I ordered some serious 3M sticky residue to hold it and it did fine. I will say if you have to do this, you have to cut a small hole in the bottom so it can spin still.
I like the adjustments this has to offer and that you can set it to whatever position fits you best. I have had to retighten the bolts a few times which may be a decline to it, if they loosen easily. Lately I have noticed that it moves side to side more than I would like it to but it isn’t the end of the world. It does hold my iPhone 15 pro max with no problems and I haven’t been concerned about my phone falling once.
But mostly due to me having to buy another set of sticky stuff to hold it in my truck is the main reason I’m not giving it 5 stars. It should have come with the proper supplies needed and not cheap sticky residue.
