**Fantastic Dash Cam for Chevy Silverado 2500 – Mangoal 4K Dash Cam**
I recently purchased the Mangoal 4K Dash Cam for my brand new Chevy Silverado 2500, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. This dash cam is a perfect fit for my vehicle and has exceeded all of my expectations.
The 4K resolution provides incredibly clear and detailed footage, ensuring that I capture every moment on the road with utmost clarity. The wide-angle lens covers a broad field of view, allowing me to capture everything happening around my vehicle, providing me with peace of mind while driving.
Installation was a breeze in my Chevy Silverado 2500, thanks to the user-friendly design and included accessories. The dash cam blends seamlessly with the interior of my truck, adding a touch of sophistication.
One aspect I wish could be improved is the lack of Bluetooth for Wi-Fi connectivity, especially since my truck includes Wi-Fi. Connecting wirelessly has been a bit challenging. However, Mangoal’s customer service has been exceptional in addressing my queries promptly and effectively.
Another point to note is that I wanted to add a back camera to complement the system, but unfortunately, it is not available for individual purchase; you have to buy the whole package at once.

Updated review 6mths – I have had an amazing experience dealing with their customer service reps related to minor issues I may have with their product. Bottom line, this appears to be a great start up company that is always transforming it’s technology and processes to better suit the customer. A huge plus to this system is that it is customized to your vehicle and limits that unsightly separate camera system you’d purchase elsewhere. This plug and play camera system offers an amazing view of your surroundings at a high definition rate. Downloading the footage is as easy as removing the SD card and connecting it to the computer. Downloading straight from the phone to me seemed laggy. This is a logical purchase for anyone seeking to invest in the protection of thier vehicle. The camera does wonderfully in the night and transitions automaticly to low light. The build in microphone is surprisingly sensitive and can pick up whispers inside the vehicle. I will tell you this, you will need to disable all the other Wi-Fi connections in the area prior to connecting to the system. This will save you so much heartache and frustration. Overall, great buy! Go for it and enjoy the sleek look.

Looks great when installed. I ordered the C with rear camera. The camera only connects to the app via WiFi, therefore if you have car play or happen to be in your home WiFi range you have to forget network and disconnect Bluetooth or you cannot stay connected to the camera WiFi to configure the settings in the app. Reason for not being 5 star.
Also, you cannot leave hardly any slack when running the cable. The compartment does not have a lot of extra space. I found it best to leave the connection outside the compartment and once I snapped it into place I made the connections and tucked the cables back up inside. Also, if using the rear camera, connect to the app and ensure the camera is not upside down before removing the sticky and attaching to the rear window.
Camera quality was great, app is easy to use and configure. Took me about 45 minutes to install and hide cables.

I had my doubts, but I am pleasantly surprised by this purchase. The instructions are a bit simplified, but by investigating the mounting area, it became clear how to install it. I was ready for the wi-fi confusion when connecting it to a phone when the vehilce is running, so that was an easy adaptation by manually disconnecting my vehicle to review footage. The mirror cover is a perfect fit, and unless I point it out, no one see the camera. The rear camera is fine…deent image, but if it’s mounted off center, the image will be off as well (it doesn’t anlge towards the center rear).

The front facing camera was fairly easy to install routing of wire from front to back camera was a little challenging in places but went well. The wire from front to rear was quite a bit longer than needed at least 3’ too much. Setting up cameras and using app was a little frustrating at times but came together nicely. Picture quality is very good, field of view is very good as well. I believe there is excellent value for the money and so far I am happy with my purchase. My version came with optional gps plug that I have not used yet but may choose to do so in the future. It would have been nice to have an easy solution to monitor the vehicle when parked in certain places. The app works well enough for aiming the rear camera and for downloading recordings but wouldn’t work for continuous viewing due to competing wifi applications in my truck.

Installed this in my 2025 Silverado 2500 (LT). Packaging was very nice, included everything I needed to complete the installation. I read the reviews and paid attention to others comments…would recommend this to all. Most unnerving part was taking off the clip on housing, but once past that, it was easy to understand the connecions using the included instructions. I followed the manual exactly and everything worked perfectly. I did install the app on my phone, then disabled my wifi auto connect to my home router to ensure i could prefer the camera wifi connection when it came up. I also disabled the auto connect to the camera after I was done configuring it. I Did not need to disable or change any other functions on my 5G Android phone. Very pleased with the playback and clarity of the recording. It looks almost seemless.
