This product sucks. I don’t recommend it after 20 minutes before 20 minutes. It fell off the dashboard followed. Your instructions fell off three times and scratched the screen on my phone. There are no stars and I want a refund immediately.!

This has an incredibly strong mounting plate! For demo I attached to the whiteboard and tried to remove the holder, it almost pulled my whiteboard off the wall (see video). The phone holder is equally adept, with the old style expandable grips that you push in to secure the phone, these hold the phone snugly in the cradle, which is able to be rotated and moved along all axis to get the perfect view.
The neck is super strong, it will flex but takes effort, which is exactly what you want to ensure that it won’t move in use. Overall, this isn’t a MagSage, cutting edge fancy phone holder, this is classic suction phone cradle tech that’s been given an overhaul and does what it does and does it damn good. At £9 a great option.

I had to delay reviewing this due to changing vehicle and to see how well it performed and stayed stuck to the dashboard.
You need to bend it to shape before you attach it to the dashboard. The arm is made of metal, and it is covered in a rubberised plastic. It is best to bend this and stick it in place when it is warm as this makes it easier to do. If you are doing this in the winter months, warm it up on top of a radiator first.
The phone holder has performed well and is still stuck to the dashboard. I did think it would fall off after a while, but it has stayed in place.
I have stuck mine so that I have line of sight to the screen if I decide to use it for Google Maps or Waze. If you are going to use a phone holder, remember that it is not allowed to be in the way of the windscreen so that it blocks your view of the road, (Taxi driver’s take note!!!) and remember that you are not allowed to touch the screen whilst driving, (I see people do this every day as well).
So far this has been a good product, and I recommend it.

We ordered two of these dashboard phone holder, one for my car, the other for my wife.
Installation was easy; we used the heater vents, because of the heavy slopes of our windshields. Smart move, because it made installation easy!
They are especially useful because Colorado USA now requires a fixed phone holder rather than a hand-held phone, with penalties if we were caught. These were a smart solution.
We have now used them for two months, and think they are great!

I ordered this for my truck. It wouldn’t stick to the dashboard regardless of following the directions of ensuring the space is cleaned and dry and in ideal weather. It does stick to the windshield great though it’s strong and it holds fine. Has easy release for the phone.
