Stopped the moaning sound coming from my power steering box in my ’94 Ford Taurus 3.0. Flushed the p.s. box at Pep Boys and refilled with Lucas Oil 10442 Power Steering Fluid with Conditioners – 16 oz.. Added Xado when finished. About one year later, noise returned and steering pump had to be replaced.
Tried this product on a ’00 Mercedes ML320, which didn’t really have any problem. Xado immediately created a loud moaning noise and the steering pump had to be replaced.

I added this to my power CHF 11S steering fluid for my Porsche Cayenne 958, so far I have seen some improvement, and all sounds when steering (specially when stationary) have disappeared.
But since it states on the bottle instructions that it cannot be added to old steering fluid, I had to replace the original fluid, so I am not sure if the improvement is in reality because of this additive or because of introducing new fluid.
It does state that the effect will take some time and to be honest I am not using my Porsche a lot these days.
I will try to update the review in a few months.
I gave 4 stars because there is an improvement, it looks decent, is well preserved and has clear instructions (which I believe many of the negative reviewers did not take into account).

I’ve used XADO on two different older vehicles at around 150K. On both, within a few hundred miles, i noticed a big difference. I felt like there was resistance when i turned the steering wheel, and it made them oversteer with small corrections. On both cars, the steering is now smooth, effortless and precise. It’s truly amazing.

I actually noticed a difference immediately. My 2010 Chevy Avalanche Z71 has 120,000 miles and has always been super reliable. We always perform recommended maintenance schedules and use synthetic oils. Since day one the Powersteering has been noisy… the dealer says it was in spec and had no issues other than a little noisy. Immediately after the XADO treatment, the action was notably smoother and the noise was almost gone. This is an excellent product and worked as advertised for me. I also used the Motor treatment and also noticed almost immediate smoother operating and less noise. Very cool. I have used dozens of products over the last 40yrs of driving and this one is the first to actually deliver a result I noticed immediately. Just ordered for my wife’s Lexus SC430 with 110K miles. Recommend this product… seems like the real deal.

About 4 years ago i used this product in my 2004 subaru wrx. The steering rack was acting up and it was notchy and hard to steer. After adding a siringe of the xado following the directions and driving the car for about 10 miles the steering was better than ever and has been fine since. I add a dose every year when i service the ps fluid.I’m a mechanic and most additives and treatments don’t work as advertised but all the xado products I have used do seem to work! I saw the most noticeable possitve result from the power steering revitalzant and Manual transmission xado revitalzant.

Nach der Anwendung XADO – EX 120 Revitalisierungsgel für Servolenkungen ging meine Servolenkung Pumpe nicht mehr. Gleich beim nächsten Motorstart. Es drehte sich alles schön, machte keine Geräusche, aber Lenkrad ließ sich kaum drehen. Dann habe ich gemerkt, dass am nächsten Tag(nach dem langen Stehen) ging wieder. Aber sobald ich Gas gegeben habe, ging die Servolenkung nicht mehr. Mehrmals gestartet und Gas gegeben hilft nichts. Und dann habe ich nach ein paar Stunden probiert war auch kein Lebenszeichen.
Dann habe ich das Auto bis nächsten Tag stehen gelassen. Am nächsten Tag probiert, ging‘s wieder, bis ich einmal Gas gegebenen habe. Dann habe ich das Auto in Ruhe für ca. 10 Stunden stehen gelassen. Nach dem ging die Servolenkung wieder bis ich Gas gegeben habe. Dann habe ich Die Servolenkung Öl aus Behälter ausgepumpt und neue rein(leider blieb den Rest drin).
Dann Pumpe ausgebaut und zerlegt, angeschaut(die Pumpe war in Ordnung) wieder eingebaut und nach dem Einbau hat wunderbar ca. 15 Minuten funktioniert mit Gasgeben und ohne. Später Gas gegeben und … selbe Problem. Geht nicht mehr. Nochmals Servoöl ausgepumpt und teilweise somit gewechselt.
BMW könnte keine Aussage geben. Termin vereinbaren und dann schauen wir, hat der Typ gesagt. Aber was das alles kosten wird(BMW Stunde glaube ich kostet 160 EURO!!!).
Dann habe ich überlegt was da sein könnte. Da müsste doch ein Ventil in Servopumpe klemmen. Nach ein paar Tagen nochmals die Pumpe ausgebaut und die Pumpe, zerlegt und alles sauber gemacht. Nach dem wieder einigen Minuten gegangen und dann nicht mehr.
Nachdem langen hin und her war es klar, Servolenkung-System muss durchgespült werden. Damit XADO rauskommt. Problem war aber, dass dieser XADO-Dreck lagert überall ab und wenn die Pumpe wieder läuft wirbelt das Ganze auf. Und dann ist Öl wieder dreckig von XADO(sieht man wenn mit Taschenlampe reinschaut).
Dann wurden Forums und Internet durchgesucht um rauszufinden, wie man auf dem Parkplatz Servolenkung-System durchgespülten kann, ohne Parkplatz zu versauen. Dann ist auf eine Idee gekommen. Also durchgespült. Öl in Behälter war super sauber und Servolenkung war auch schneller hach dem Klemmen wieder da. Also umgekehrt geworden. Nur kurze Klemmungen, dann nach Gasgeben wieder gelaufen. Nach ein paar Tagen habe ich nochmal Öl kontrolliert und festgestellt, dass XADO Partikel wieder im Öl waren. Aber jetzt nicht mehr in so viel, nicht in so ein Konzentration. Und die Servolenkung besser und besser geworden, jetzt(nach ein paar Wochen) läuft Servo wieder. Aber ich will trotzdem nochmals durchspülen um XADO-reste wegbringen.
Fazit: je weniger XADO drin, desto besser die Pumpe laufen an.
Damals habe ich dieser XADO-Zusatz in meinem anderen Auto eingesetzt. Und es gab keine Probleme, so wie auch keine merkbare Verbesserung.
Deswegen kann ich deutlich sagen: Es gibt die Pumpen, die XADO nicht vertragen!!! Und man sollte davon vorwarnen!!!
Aber was mir die ganze Geschichte gekostet hat:
– 6 Liter Servolenkung Öl!!! Was auch nicht so billig ist. Wegen mehrmals wechseln und spülen. System hat nur ca. 1,5Liter drin.
– meine Zeit und meine Nerven. Was für mich viel wichtiger und teurer ist.
Und ich will gar nicht wissen, was denn BMW mir in Rechnung gestellt hätte. Sie haben bestimmt gleich Pumpe ausgetauscht. Und dieser Spaß KOSTET 900 EURO(allein Pumpe ca. 750Euro)!!!
Und das würde wahrscheinlich nichts bringen, und dann suchten sie wie blöd weiter. Auf meine Kosten natürlich!!!
Also überlegt euch gut, was ihr reinkippen wird. Vielleicht es ist billiger gleich eine gebrauchte Servolenkungpumpe zu erwerben, als dann dieser XADO-Dreck aus System raus zu spülen!!! Rein geht es schnell und dann …. Wie rausholen????
Früher habe ich verschiedene XADO Produkte schon angewendet und ehrlich zu sagen, habe ich nie eine deutliche Besserung gesehen. Meistens nur Einbildungen.
Ich würde sagen nur dann so was reinkippen, wenn alles klappert und sowieso Wechsel eingeplant ist(als letzte Hoffnung).

I don’t understand what this is or why it works 210k on the power steering pump and I started to hear some noises put this in and now I don’t. It will probably fail later nothing lasts forever who knows but it’s not making noise.
