mind you, I have no intentions of giving it as a gift because a was looking for exactly this — a somewhat small faraday case that I keep handy, i..e. not locked away in a closet but sitting on a table in the living room or near the door.
But let’s say you wanted to give this as a gift. The recipient would be pleased as punch, because it is classy inside and out. The exterior has a fascinating three-dimensional look to it created through what appears to be an inlay pattern. The case is solid. The inside even looks like something you would keep valuables in, and it even comes with unexpected nice touches, such as a gift card and envelope (with no writing) that you could use to explain why you are giving it as a gift. Does it work well as a Faraday case? Not sure yet. Not sure exactly how I would test to prove that.

I love this faraday key box, I have got a few of these around the house to keep my wireless key fobs safe from potential thieves and this is the best one I have tried. The outside of the box is a rigid metal material and it looks really great, the design has metal dots that make the finish look really nice. The size is good it can fit around 2 wallets and two sets of keys comfortably. The box has a nice rigid material on the outside and is sturdy, the inside has a nice soft fabric to protect your keys, the only think I don’t like is the non slip rubber feet on the bottom of the box don’t work that well and the box can slide around if you try to push it.
The box works great, I tested it with two sets of my wireless key fobs and when the keys were in the box I was not able to unlock or start my car so it does seem to work properly, no more worrying about thieves. For the current list price of about $40 this is a great deal for the peace of mind it brings, plus it is well built and looks nice, I definitely recommend getting one of these faraday boxes, I’m glad I picked it up.

This box works well with one caveat, the buckle HAS to be locked. You can’t just close the lid and get full blocking. I tested this with my wife’s phone and if I put it in the box and tried to call, it would go straight to voicemail. I tried putting my AirPods in it and the location could no longer be found on Find My.
The box construction is decent, it’s not top-shelf materials and the carbon fiber is a sticker but for the price, it’s not bad. The most important thing is that it works. If you have car keys, phones or any other electric devices that you feel someone might try to capture (the signals) this is a great product. If you want to long-store items that you might not want people scanning for, put them in the box, lock it closed and put it in a fireproof safe. They did do a good job on the look, it actually has a bit of a carbon fiber look but again, it’s just a carbon “look” sticker. The box is big enough to fit even the largest phablets, lol. My wife has an iPhone 16 Plus and it easily fits inside the box. This will work for small-ish electronic devices, car keys, RFID items, credit cards, phones, etc but wouldn’t fit a tablet or anything larger than the Max phones. If you have a need to block electronic signals, pick this one up!

Here’s a stylish Faraday box for any kind of safe signal blocking storage.
The internal dimensions are about 17.5 centimeters (6.9 inches) wide by 10.6 cm (4.8 in) deep and 7.2 cm (2.8 in) tall. The materials used seem fairly sturdy with painted metal corners, edges, and latch. The corners and latch are all a magnetic metal while the metal edges are not magnetic. The designed box faces are made of a rugged plastic type of material and the inside is some sort of woven fabric. The inside of the lid is padded and the floor has just a little bit of give to it. Four hard rubber feet keep from scratching whatever surface the box is placed on.
On the latch, there is a neat notch that ensures that the U-shaped loop cannot be forced over the edge while locked on. The hole for attaching a lock (not included) is slightly smaller than the diameter of a standard pencil. When latched, the lid does not have any wiggle room, which is satisfying to feel.
My only miff is that the internal measurements are not exactly equal from one side, to the center, and to the other side. I’ll admit, I did not realize this until I measured, so it’s not anything noticeable, but now I know it’s just a little off.
As an experiment, I placed my cell phone inside and closed the lid. A friend then sent a couple of text messages. No vibration or alert was heard. After a several minutes, I removed my phone and within 30 seconds, my phone received the messages and my friend’s phone reported the messages as “Delivered”. I concluded that this Faraday box really works as advertised.
I am quite pleased with this Faraday box and would recommend it. Whether you’re hoping to eliminate your car key signal for a push-start or proximity-start car, or you simply desire peace and quiet from all your social media group chat messages, this locking storage box is for you.

This is a super high quality storage box.
I put my phone in it and tried to locate it with my husband’s phone, and it could t be located.
It has a nice place where you could put a lock if you wanted to.
It comes with a nice gift card and envelope, and it comes in a really nice outer box. (I love boxes)
It has a nice fabric lining.
We’re finally able to travel and I’m very excited to have such a box to keep stuff safe.
