The round plug attaches from any direction.
Charging is faster than most cables I’ve owned.
The light is bright, but a good indicator that the cable is connected in any light.
Data transfer is consistent
The plug keeps dust out of the port.
The magnet is strong enough to hold while I use devices, but weak enough to release them before I accidentally fling them across the room.
I wish the L shape was also available in the 1m as it is more convenient for charging while in use.

Poor quality, exact same cable as other listings. Very poor connectivity after just 2 months. Seems to cause some sort of connection error in my car if I plug it in after the car is started. When it actually works it has fast charging.

I was looking for a magnetic USB-C cable for my car as the one I was using kept disconnecting. I decided to give this one a whirl, and it works great!
The one thing you must take note of is that if you have a more heavy duty phone case, the attachment will not fully connect. I ended up having to cut around the USB-C port in order for it to fully connect.

I accidentally came across these cables when looking for a new charging cable for my tablet. I had never heard of this type before but was immediately amazed. With just a small plug that stays in your device, you can simply attach the cable magnetically any time you need charging. The obvious advantage to this is ease of use, but more importantly, you’ll be saving the wear & tear on your devices. Even the latest USB-C ports can break after repeated plugging in/out of normal charging cables. And if your toddler or dog runs across and snags the cable (or you just get clumsy), instead of potentially costing you hundreds in repairs, the cable just snaps right off damaging nothing. You can just pick it up and re-attach again. I love saving my devices while also having the ease-of-use to just drop my phone on the nightstand at night and it instantly grabs the cable & starts charging.
Do yourself a favor & start using these cables right away! There are many other brands of magnetic charging cables but these are the highest quality I’ve come across. I’ve had dozens of cables in use from work-to-home and with family/friends and none of them have had any issues at all.

I purchased this item in hopes that it would allow me to keep a USB inside of my Microsoft Surface Duo phone, because there were a few complaints about the port cracking. Well it works perfectly, I don’t have to repeatedly insert the charger into the port to charge the phone. Which could have damaged my port. Now I just leave it inserted and charge it magnetically. It works wonders. It charges really fast.

Got these to save wear and tear on my keyboard usb socket. There’s a ridiculous number of brands of magnetic cables, some of which are ambiguous about whether they handle data, but this was a direct link from a trustworthy reddit user, and it seems to work.
The constant glowing blue light is a bit ridiculous; I guess it could be a problem if used in a bedroom.

I have installed the NetDot micro USB and USB-C magnetic connection ports/cables on all my portable electronics. Wish I had done this sooner. The magnetic connectors save wear and prevent damage to the one key connection you must have for any electronic device – the power/data port. These small magnetic adaptors fit perfectly and connect so easily to the matching magnetic power cable that you will wonder why you hadn’t purchased them sooner! I originally got them to reduce the amount of damage I had already done to my daily use phone. When I found how great they were I put them.on everything: phones, kindle, bluetooth chargers, everything. The great thing is they even work for data transfer. I dont have to change them out for a different data cable. Do yourself a favor and install the NetDot adapter/cables on your devices. You will be impressed as to the results with reduced wear, easier charging, fast data rates. Try one set and you will not regret it.

The best part of these cables are that since the magnetic interface is circular, the phone can be at any angle and the power and communications still work. I use it in the car and at various locations where I keep a cable at each. The port connection to the phone stays in place well and acts like a great dusk blocker when phone is in my pocket. The only part of the cables I don’t like is that they have LED lights that are always on when the cable is plugged into the car/power supply/computer, even when the phone isn’t connected. This worries me about leaving the cable plugged into my car. Don’t need any additional draw on the car battery in the cold winter months

These are perfect 1 ft cords, they have strong magnets so stay attached better than so.e of my old ones. The cables are thick and seem quite sturdy, and are not too flexible, so I think they will be durable. I have had some issues with charging though; sometimes the light at the end of the cord just blinks. There were no instructions on what that means or what to do, I’ve just noticed that it doesn’t charge if the light is blinking. I have ordered a set of the 5′ cords as I need to replace all my mag charging cables, as these new cords are not compatible with other charging plugs. I did not see that caveat when I was looking to buy the first set.
