So far this magnetic dash phone holder has been excellent. It’s near impossible to find something that works well and looks good in a Ford Mustang (2018). Placed it in this spot so it can easily reach the USB with a shorter cord, and it does not block the screen like all the other vent mounted ones did. Followed instructions to make a clean spot. Pressed the adhesive and held for about 60 seconds. Let adhere fully overnight. Perfect. Will see if it holds up after several months in the So Cal summer heat.

I contacted caw about this directly and they did not offer a solution other than their products are stocked in an Amazon warehouse and I’d have to get another or use superglue to fix it? Really. Very poor customer service – the front of the mount is coming off and I use an iPhone 13 Pro on it not the max version it’s definitely not over loaded on the weight side and I’ve had this not even 8 months of use. I could accept it was a one off and then to send another or part but the customer service I got back was awful, do not purchase this unless you’re willing to for out for a replacement should it start to fall apart.

The magnetic mount adheres to your dashboard with an adhesive strip, for best results follow the directions provided with the product! Clean the surface with the provided alcohol pad, let it dry for a couple minutes, adhere the mount to your dashboard, press firmly for about a minute. They recommend letting it sit for 24 hours before using, and this is probably a good idea, but I found it was pretty well sealed in place after 3-4 hours.
The metallic disc you adhere to the back of your phone they recommend letting it sit for an hour before using, I would actually recommend letting it sit for at least 3+ hours as well. The first disc I used immediately came off the phone when removing it from the magnetic mount in the car. Thankfully, they provide a total of 4 discs (2 large, 2 small). This also may just speak to how powerful of a magnet is being used, it provides a VERY strong grip on the phone- which is great.
Driving over bumps my phone doesn’t move at all, and unlike many of the plastic “arm” or “tray” type phone mounts there’s no creaking/movement of the mount at all. The mount itself also takes significantly less space than the aforementioned mount types.
If your phone supports wireless charging, do be mindful of where you place the metal disc on the back of the phone. If you cover the wireless charging contact area, it will no longer work (their instructions do caution this). On my phone I had to place the bottom edge of the metal disc about 1/4″ up from bottom of the phone, otherwise it would not charge on my wireless charging surface. You can test this out by simply placing the metallic disc under the phone (not adhering it) on the charging surface and see where you need to place the disc and still be able to wirelessly charge.
Even though that makes the anchor point like 4/5 of the way down the phone, the magnet is easily strong enough to not make this an issue. If you don’t have wireless charging, then you can really place the disc wherever you want on the back of the phone and I can confidently say the magnet will have no problem holding the phone in place, it really can’t be understated enough how strong this magnet is!

The big circle magnets are amazing, but the smaller circles don’t hold my phone well. The magnet is strong, the adhesive is the issue. I have a Z Fold 6, so it is heavier than most phones and maybe that has something to do with it. I also keep the accessories in the car, so maybe the heat affects the adhesive, too. Aside from that, it is an awesome product that is long-lasting and reliable. No complaints about the mount or the big circle magnets. I want to buy it again!

Installs easily but make sure you follow the directions. Looks great in my car, almost like it came from the dealership as an accessory. Solid, well made, and great value for the dollar. Strong magnet that will work with your phone case with metal stand , and/or with the included adhesive metal disks. Be aware that you are limited on installation locations due to the fact that it must be installed on a vertical, or near vertical surface.

this is gonna be one of the most simple but studious phone holders for an automobile takes up no room doesn’t bust the air vents like those ones they clip on. It’ll hold your phone through some of the biggest bumps in the road around here. We have Costco missing in some of the potholes. I just find this to be one of the finest phone holders. There is you can go landscape and portrait just a flick of the wrist no brackets no nothing. Just a simple little metal tab on the back of your phone. Highly recommended mentioned it to two of my friends they have installed it and like it very much. I don’t know if this helps you make a decision, but I know I’m happy with it. One last thing if it doesn’t stay, stuck in the heat, put a tiny dab of gorilla glue and tape it on with some kind of tape let it sit overnight. It’ll never fall off. Do this of your own free will I will not except any responsibility for any outcomes I only say it because I did it for myself. You do what you want.

I will change to 5 stars if I can get an answer/replacement on the stuck swivel. It stays adhesive wise and doesn’t come of car dash. This is a very very good staying phone holder. Magnet is strong, like I said doesn’t come of car dash. Pulls off easy. Everything is great except I can’t turn the swivel. It won’t budge. So lucky the angle works but it would nice to be able to turn it, even if it was hard to turn. It doesn’t turn even when I strain, and I’m not weak. If I try any harder, I feel like I will rip it off the dash, upsetting glue bond.

This phone mount is really sturdy and works well! It’s very light weight, sleek and compact which I like. I’m not sure if I misplaced my replacement adhesives but it came off after several winter months of use. I will be re-adhering and using it primarily again. I’ve gone through several before this one and don’t want to use another!
