When I first opened this, I was kind of excited about the concept — a little MagSafe-compatible mount with a mirror and suction cups that I could stick anywhere sounded handy. It even came with two adhesive magnetic rings, which is a nice touch for people who don’t already have MagSafe built into their case (I do, so I didn’t need them).
The magnet strength was solid — it snapped onto my phone without issue and held on well while I moved it around. The build quality, however, leaves a bit to be desired. The mirror had scratches right out of the box, which wasn’t great for a product that markets itself as something you can use for touch-ups or makeup.
Where it really fell short for me was the suction cups on the back. They’re very small and shallow, and at first they wouldn’t stick to anything. After I thoroughly cleaned both the suction cups and the mirror I was trying to stick it to, it finally held. I was able to use the front-facing camera for mirror use while it was mounted, which was honestly kind of cool. But when I removed my phone, I assumed the base would stay put — came back later and found it had fallen into the sink. So… stability isn’t its strong suit.
The mount is compact and adjustable, which is good, but overall it just feels a bit flimsy and overly niche. It’s not something I see myself using regularly, and at $13.99, it feels a little overpriced for what you get. It’s more of a novelty than a reliable everyday tool.

Suction cups work very well, and it’s a neat idea. I was, however, initially disappointed that there are not suction cups on both sides. It comes with two magnetic rings (one spare) to attach to your phone so the suction cup piece will magnetically adhere to it. I would have preferred to not need to attach anything to my phone/case for this to work. Unfortunately, it does not work on my iphone 15 Pro without the magnetic piece. The magnetic ring’s stickiness is very strong, as demonstrated by my 3yo when she peeled the protective sheet off of one and stuck it to the hotel nightstand. I believe it may permanently be on there. The pink is a light baby pink color, leaning more on the neutral color spectrum. IMO, I think the pink could have been made a bit more pink to be prettier. There’s an attached silicone loop which makes it easy to remove the piece from your phone. I like the feeling of the suction cups, as they are soft and flexible and not hard plastic. They feel like little bits of skin. When you’re not using this as intended, it’s also a fun fidget sensory device.

This is a review for the QxbSky Store brand of a Magsafe Silicone Suction Cup Phone Mount with a Built-in Mirror. THe magnets are strong. But, the suctions are quite shallow, especially compared to the original (Octobuddy) or other imitations. The unique thing about this item is the strap and mirror. I ordered this in a the pink color and do like the soft pink shade they chose. The suctions did stick to my mirror, but only after pressing a bit harder than I’ve had to with my Octobuddy. Overall, it’s a cute concept, but I don’t like feeling insecure about the suction strength. Won’t be risking my phone to use this.
