This accessory looks like it came with the vehicle and installation was easy. It holds a big Samsung S23 Ultra with a waterproof case on easily without shaking. The clamp fits the dashboard perfectly.

Very high quality. Like, extremely high quality. Installed in my work 2023 Maverick. Only wish it would come with another ball mount for additional items. Super sturdy, and will last the life of the vehicle, no questions asked!

No rattles! Precise fit! Pay attention to the fitment to get it 100% right. The side brackets are chamfered for a precise fit, match the chamfers. Install the side brackets first by sliding them over the dash lip. Then screw them to the crossbar. I didn’t need to tighten the clamping screws at all and still I got NO RATTLES!!

This is a beefy and functionally useful product. It does have some flaws. The left and right brackets that clamp around the dash are machined identical (except for the angle of a cosmetic chamfer on the bottom). The clamp on the right of the screen fits pretty well to the dash but the clamp on the left of the screen is pretty sloppy and does not conform to that side of the dash well. It will still work functionally and the screen itself will mechanically keep this bracket from falling off the dash. The rail itself is well machine and has four 1/4-20 holes available to mount various accessories. The kit does come with already will a ball (for a double socket articulating arm) and a pretty beefy phone holder. Back to the brackets, the machining of the threads (at least on my unit) were drilled at an angle which causes the rail not to sit flat and at an angle (and yes I checked multiple times that it wasn’t cross-threaded). This rail installs on the bare dash. I slightly modded mine so that I could continue to use a tray that I have in that spot. I was happy to discover that the rail actually fit perfectly in my tray. I installed as a proof of concept using longer (and too long) M6 bolts and spacers that I had around the shop. It functionally works and I’ll likely not swap for proper length bolts until I know for sure that this will stay on the rig long term. All in all I think this is a good addition to the Maverick especially for the FX4 and Tremor models capable of going off road.

Great fit and concept. Super sturdy, didn’t take too long to install. Looks like it’s OEM, great value for the money.

The idea is fantastic. I wish it had a couple of extra things bundled up with it.
It only comes with 1 phone holder and 1 17mm ball with 1/4″ thread.
Inclusion of a 15, 20 or 25mm ball would make this more versatile.
Installation is simple, but DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN anything. You might get a couple of scratches here and there on your dash (ask me how i know).
I inverted the threaded adapter on the phone mount. Didnt look right the way it came assembled. (The nut at the base).
I also modified the top tray that i had in order to use this product and that tray together.
The product is built like a tank, lacks a paper slip with sinple instructions. (Would go a long way) side brackets have sharp edges, should be labelled left and right in order to make it simpler to put in place.
